Stockdorf – September 19, 2024 – Webasto, the global system partner to the automotive industry, is about to change the responsible board member for the finance division. After four years as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of one of the 100 largest suppliers to the automotive sector worldwide, Arne Kolfenbach has decided to leave the company by end of October and to pursue his professional career outside of Webasto. Jörg Bremer, previously CFO of KraussMaffei Group, will succeed him on November 1, 2024.
“We are happy to announce that with Jörg Bremer, an experienced strategist in the Finance section, is joining Webasto,” says Dr. Holger Engelmann, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Webasto SE. “He takes over the responsibility of the central functions Finance as well as Information Technology. Areas which are – due to the tense market conditions – of the highest importance for Webasto. I am convinced that Jörg Bremer will provide important impetus in the continuous challenging times”, adds Engelmann.
The previous CFO Arne Kolfenbach has joined Webasto in 2020, coming from Airbus. “We thank Arne Kolfenbach for is extraordinary commitment for Webasto in the past years,” emphasizes Engelmann. “Together with his team, he has led Webasto in times of global crises through a very challenging phase and made a major contribution to the development of the management culture. Under his leadership important financing agreements have been set up and our Governance and Steering Systems have been professionalized and strengthened. We wish Arne Kolfenbach all the best for his professional and private future.”
