Holistic view of system requirements

By using system simulations, Webasto offers optimum transparency and advice even before the project is implemented. Webasto carries out a comprehensive simulation of the system, taking into account aspects such as battery configuration, ambient conditions and operating strategies. In this way, a system tailored to individual needs is offered - adapted to the specific application, including battery, vehicle heating and cooling systems.

Development and commissioning

Once the decision for a Webasto battery system has been made, the Webasto electrification experts not only provide support, but also work on the implementation. After successful integration, the application is reviewed together and the vehicle is released for commissioning.

Battery production with foresight

The modern Webasto plant in the Regensburg district is a pioneer in terms of sustainability. The plant produces up to 40,000 battery systems per year using only green electricity. It has its own photovoltaic system on the roof - half the size of a soccer pitch. Battery recycling is also very important to Webasto which is why Webasto is building a battery storage system with more than 500 second-life battery modules with a capacity of one megawatt hour at one company site.
