Our Rochester Hills workplaces
Webasto began its operations in the U.S. in 1986 as a single panel roof manufacturer with its plant in Rochester Hills, Michigan. While it's the smallest plant in the region, the plant produces an average of 200,000 panoramic roofs a year, largely for the truck business. Under the leadership of its Plant Director Chuck Tatham, the 300 colleagues at the plant work as a family, and through their collaboration and dedication, the plant has been voted one of the Top Michigan Workplaces by the Detroit Free Press and has been awarded the Ford Motor Company Q1 award and the General Motors Supplier Quality Excellence Award.
Connection of our plant
Due to the immediate closeness to Detroit, the location is very easy to reach via the highway. Of course, our production center is also very easy to reach from the rest of the surrounding area.
The panoramic roof production center
Fresh air, a clear view to the sky and a generous feeling of space: modern sliding and panoramic roofs with innovative features offer drivers a real open-air feeling today. At our Webasto plant in Rochester Hills, we focus on the production of panoramic roofs, primarily for trucks.
